Christopher M. Blanton

Chris Blanton was born in Walnut Creek, California and grew up in North Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Government. Chris attended law school at the University of Houston where he earned a J.D. and graduated in the top ten percent of his class in 1996. Immediately after law school, he worked for a Dallas-based insurance defense firm with a focus on construction defect litigation prior to starting his own law firm. In the following years, Chris worked for several larger firms before spending the last eight years prior to joining Brock Person Guerra Reyna, PC working for a small boutique firm handling professional liability claims against architects and engineers. He started at Brock Person Guerra Reyna, PC in October 2016 and is adjusting to the transition of becoming a Spurs fan.

Chris has two daughters, Abigail and Emily, and one dog – Gladys. He is an avid fan of South American futbol and has a robust interest in the preservation of the Texas thoroughbred horse racing industry.
